Karen McCurry BEM

 

I left Glasgow in 2005 to move to Lochgilphead with my husband and two year old twins. The Centre Manager role was attractive to me, as it combined the various skills I had gained through my university education and previous working roles.

 

I am a fully qualified massage therapist and taught basic massage courses to adult learners and stress management and massage courses to children with severe behaviour problems.  

 

My most current previous role was working for the BBC Action Line, this gave me the experience in research, feedback report writing and trained me in supportive listening, all skills I use frequently in the MS Centre.

The Centre is a focal point in our community and I thrive on helping community members become healthier and happier.

Living in Argyll and surrounded by beautiful scenery allows me to switch off, recharge and spend my free time out and about with my camera.
